Can I use solar panel to charge while connecting the device via AC output? Body Text
Key Notes:
Total Input vs. Output Power: The solar panel’s charging power + any AC charging power (if connected to a wall outlet) must be greater than the total power drawn by your devices. Otherwise, the power station may drain faster than it charges.
Example: If your devices use 50W, and your solar panel provides 80W, the power station will charge at 30W (80W input – 50W output). If you also plug in a 100W AC charger, total input becomes 180W (80W solar + 100W AC), so net charging is 130W (180W – 50W).
Efficiency Loss: Some power loss may occur during conversion (e.g., solar DC to battery DC, or AC to DC). This is normal and typically minimal (5–10%).
